PPFD to Daily Light Integral (DLI) Calculator

Calculation Formula

The formula to calculate the Daily Light Integral (DLI) is:

\[ \text{DLI} = \frac{\text{PPFD} \times 3600 \times \text{Light Hours}}{10^6} \]

Where:

  • \( \text{DLI} \) is the Daily Light Integral in mol/m²/day.
  • \( \text{PPFD} \) is the Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density in µmol/m²/s.
  • \( \text{Light Hours} \) is the number of hours of light per day.
